Welcoming me over

This vase of flowers sitting on a friend's windowsill in London captured me. Painting them continued this feeling, the beauty of the flowers, the turquoise and pink, the light reflecting through the window. While the flowers only stay so long, this painting is a little reminder of this beauty everyday.
